Hey Guys, if you don’t know who I am already as you can guess by the name I am Mitch. I have been filming weddings for over 10 years across the country and globe. Specialising in Southern Highlands weddings but also film throughout the Illawarra region, interstate and Internationally. Back in the day I started filming with an Illawarra cinematography company. This was what gave me the experience and not to mention the chance to film at some incredibly breath taking places over the world, such as: Australia, Europe & Asia. I love what I do and am so blessed to have the opportunity of capturing breath taking moments for you all to keep forever.
Since starting our business, we have no expanded into creating social media content for businesses. This to us is a great addition to our ever expanding business and we absolutely love the variety it adds to our week. It has given me such joy going on site and filming businesses and helping them grow as a company themselves. Even though the business just started with me, It is no longer just me now that makes our films what they are. I have a second shooter named Ben who films with me on occasions as my right hand man. Ben and I have filmed together pretty much since I started this journey of videography 10 years ago. He is a legend and I am so grateful to have him working with us and being apart of creating lasting memories. Then there is one other person who is the backbone to what we do and that is my wife Camelia, my partner in crime. If it wasn’t for this woman we wouldn’t be where we are today. Camelia takes care of the website, facebook, instagram and most importantly the editing (yes I said it editing). This woman is incredible. She is able to juggle being a full time mum to our gorgeous children and manages the business all at the same time.Â
In addition to our business growing, we have been fortunate enough to now hire our own in house editor Paul, who has taken on most of the load of editing our longer films we offer in some of our packages. Paul is just hands down one of the nicest guys we know and having in our team has just made all films that much better, we love the fresh eyes and views it gives us as a business.Â
OUR STORY
My wife & I have lived, and continue to live on the South Coast of New South Wales. We met at 16 years of age back in high school (yes high school sweet hearts) :D.
We have been fortunate enough to travel the world together, buy our first home together, build a home together, start a business and most importantly start a family together. Our daughter is almost 4 and our son is almost 1. It has been our biggest and most important achieved bringing our children into the world and it just amazes us how quickly they grow but how lucky we are to have them in our lives.
Let’s go back a little though to why I in particular started filming. When I left high school I became fascinated with how a camera could freeze a moment in time, by the single click of a button and how the snapping close of a shutter could preserve a memory forever. This is what drew me to explore my desire to capture memories for others that will last a lifetime.
