Nakita + Mitch | Bombo Quarry

Don’t worry. You’re in the right place. You haven’t stumbled upon a short film from an art festival. It’s just Camelia up to her tricks again, turning elopement moments into masterpieces held at stunning locations such as Bombo Quarry.

All this wedding had was a groom, a bride, their dog, and a gorgeous location. It’s all it needed. Nakita and Mitch decided to elope, and they couldn’t have picked a better spot. Bombo Quarry is not just a bunch of rocks. It’s a bunch of rocks on the coastline.

Nakita and Mitch shared their beautiful vows with one another, and because I didn’t have to worry about getting in the way of guests (that’s the best thing about elopements), I could get up and close and personal as they expressed their love for one another. In the background, the waves crashed against the coastline, and the sun shone down from the sky. You could take in every single element.

You can’t go to Bombo Quarry without hitting the beach afterwards. Nakita and Mitch held each other in their arms as they wandered along the shore. They didn’t need to be back in time for a huge reception. They could enjoy every second of their wedding day and soak in the moment.

I was also able to make sure I captured every little special moment so Nakita and Mitch could relive it over and over again. It’s one of the many reasons I love elopements. On the surface, they look simple to shoot, but it’s so much fun getting up close and personal with the couple and really getting to film their personalities and the love in the air.

I got to spend the day with them, and we even shot some footage at night. The light glistening off them was spectacular. It helped illustrate their glow, and it made for the perfect conclusion of a wonderful day.

I’m sure you’ll adore another one of Camelia’s masterpieces. You can check it on our Vimeo page, which also includes all of our other wonderful couples. If you like what you see, make sure to get in touch with us to find out more.
