The wedding of Daniel and Georgia was like something out of a fairy tale, especially for the fact it was at the University of Sydney, which compliments their personalities so well.
I’m very familiar with fairy tales. I have two kids who run around the house and wind down by watching Disney films. While this wedding took place at a university of Sydney, we were nowhere near any textbooks or chemistry labs. We stood in a cathedral similar to what a Disney princess would be married in.
Roses surrounded the altar, and in the corner, someone was playing a grand piano and another person playing the cello. The atmosphere gave me goosebumps. Especially when Daniel and Georgia ended their ceremony with a classical dance while the floor filled with smoke. It was at this point that I knew we needed something special for their video.
Camelia outdid herself by creating this masterpiece. With every couple, she tries to capture the essence of their story and illustrate the love they have for one another. With Daniel and Georgia, she implemented some new techniques and effects that have recently become available. Camelia has had these under her sleeve for a while, but they worked perfectly for Daniel and Georgia.
The reception was just as epic. The small intimate setting made it the ideal place for Daniel to profess his love for Georgia. His vows at the ceremony brought everyone to tears, including the celebrant. But he outdid himself at the reception.
This fairy tale wedding finished with some authentic Greek dancing. I love to get as close as possible to the action and capture the smiles on everyone’s faces as they dance around the floor. It even takes me back tomy own fairy tale wedding.
