Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make while planning your day. Every venue has its own atmosphere, scenery and personality, and each one tells a different story on film.

Over the past 14 years, we’ve had the privilege of filming almost 400 weddings across Wollongong, the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and beyond. Along the way, we’ve come to know some incredible venues and exactly what makes each one so special.

Bendooley Estate

Bendooley Estate is known for its timeless elegance, beautiful gardens and two incredible reception spaces, The Book Barn and The Stables. Every season brings something unique, making it one of our favourite venues to film throughout the year.

Having filmed multiple weddings here, we've come to know the property well, from the quiet garden paths to the golden light that fills the grounds in the late afternoon. It's a venue that offers endless opportunities to create beautiful, natural wedding films without ever needing to leave the estate.

Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat

Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is one of those venues that immediately feels welcoming. Surrounded by bushland, and mountain views, it gives couples the chance to spend an entire weekend celebrating with the people they love most.

We love filming here because every part of the property feels authentic. From emotional ceremonies in the cathedral to incredible sunsets overlooking the view, it's the perfect setting for couples wanting a fun, relaxed wedding.

Greyleigh

Greyleigh is one of the South Coast's most impressive wedding venues, combining modern luxury with incredible countryside views. The rolling hills, beautifully designed reception space and peaceful atmosphere make it a stunning location to film throughout the entire day.

One of the things we love most about Greyleigh is how effortlessly the day flows. Everything is close together, allowing couples to spend more time enjoying their wedding and less time travelling between locations.

Ravensthorpe offers a beautiful mix of heritage architecture and manicured gardens, creating a timeless setting for wedding films. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a larger gathering, there are countless locations throughout the property that photograph beautifully.

Its central location and classic style make it one of the Illawarra's most loved wedding venues, and one we always enjoy returning to.
