Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is always one of our favourite venues to film at. The scenery, relaxed atmosphere, and endless space always create such an incredible vibe for couples and guests. However, this wedding felt even more special because of how welcoming and fun Laura and Ryan were from the very beginning.

From the morning preparations right through to the dance floor, there was just so much love surrounding these two. Family and friends had travelled from all over the world to celebrate with them, which made every moment feel incredibly meaningful and emotional.

We were lucky enough to spend the day alongside Chris Red Berry, who always brings such a calm and fun energy to a wedding day. Even while trying not to completely melt in the heat, everyone kept spirits high and simply rolled with the day.

The reception quickly turned into an absolute party thanks to an incredible live band, packed dance floor, and guests who were ready to celebrate all night long. Honestly, it was one of those weddings where nobody cared about perfection or timelines. Everyone was simply present and enjoying every moment together.

From the morning preparations right through to the reception, the energy throughout the day was genuinely palpable. There was so much excitement, emotion, laughter, and love surrounding Aimee and Riley, and because of that, the entire wedding felt relaxed and effortless.

One thing we loved most about this wedding was how present everyone was. Nobody was trying too hard or overcomplicating the day. Instead, the focus stayed exactly where it should be, celebrating, connecting, and simply enjoying every moment as it unfolded naturally.

Aimee and Riley trusted the process, stayed fully present, and because of that, every part of the day felt authentic and meaningful.

Held on their family property, Otford Farm is absolutely stunning. Open space, fresh air, and that peacful feeling you get when you are surrounded by nature. James and Candace were never interested in rushing the day or sticking to a strict timeline. Their focus was pretty simple, to spend it with family and soak up every moment.

Now a little bit about their love story. James and Candace’s story began in December 2012 at Engadine train station. They met on a double date, who would later become Jame’s groomsman. James was already on the train, having come from Otford, while Candace hopped on at Engadine.

It was one of those low pressure, everyday moments that quietly turned into something big. No big or grand date, just two people meeting in a very casual way. From there, their story unfolded naturally, which honestly feels like the perfect reflection of what the day they later created.

From the morning through to the reception, the entire day felt calm and intentional. The ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, set again the beautiful tree’s of the property. The reception also started off very romantic but just when the guests thought the night couldn’t get any better, James and Candace pulled off an epic surprise. After their first dance, The Hot Potato Band made a surprise appearance, and the energy instantly exploded.

These guys are incredible. The music, the interaction, and the way they bring people together on the dance floor is next level. Every time we have the chance to work alongside them, the vibe is unreal, and this night was no exception.

James and Candace’s wedding was a perfect example of what happens when couples prioritise connection over pressure. Great speeches, an incredible band, and laid back atmosphere made for an unforgettable day.

When we say in all of our posts online and on socials we don’t like stiff or posed moments, this wedding definitely was not one of those. Things really kicked off in the evening and you could feel that this was going to be a wedding everyone was fully present and ready to celebrate hard.

Here is a bit of a backstory of their love story. Jade and Keaton started back in August 2019 at a mutual friends birthday party. Before they had even met, they had already done what most of us do and had a sneaky look at each other’s Facebook profiles. Safe to say they both liked what they saw haha.

They finally met in person but things did not quite go to plan. Due to a few people pulling out of the event, Keaton and Jade’s paths didn’t really cross that night. When they did finally see each other, later in the evening Jade thought Keaton was trying to hook up with on of he friends which made her feeling alittle flat. However, as soon as Keaton left the party, he didn’t waste any time and messaged her asking for a coffee date. After an agreed coffee date, and then awkwardly meeting at another party prior to this coffee date, they finally ended up with their offical first date 5 days later, and the rest is history!

Now there is plenty to say about this wedding but we won’t go on for much longer. If we could describe this wedding in one would it would be epic. They had Tazer Music taking care of the music, and Tay absolutely delivered. He surprised Jade & Keaton with a saxaphone player and followed by playing his drum while the dancing was happening! Such a vibe!

These are the weddings we absolutely love filming. The one where couples trust the process, let the day unfold naturally, and focus on enjoying every second.

Vic and Belinda’s love story is proof that it’s never too late to find your person. After both had almost given up on online dating, they met, clicked, and everything changed. Within six months, they were expecting their son, who would go on to play the cutest role in their wedding day. This was a first marriage for both of them, and they were beyond excited to celebrate their commitment surrounded by those who had supported them throughout the years.

From the moment we arrived at Growwild, there was a sense of calm and grace in the air. Everything about the day was intentional, stylish yet personal, classic but still relaxed. The venue’s natural charm paired perfectly with the black tie aesthetic, and you could just feel how much love had been poured into planning the day.

While Vic’s attention to detail shone through the styling, Belinda brought a relaxed, graceful energy that balanced it all out. And when their son announced them as husband and wife and gave them permission to kiss? Not a dry eye in sight. It was one of those moments that reminded us exactly why we love filming weddings.

This wedding was the kind of celebration where you can just feel the gratitude in the air. Vic and Belinda weren’t just celebrating each other, they were honouring the people who had supported them through life’s ups and downs. The speeches were warm and funny, the music was spot on (no surprise given Vic’s knowledge of the industry), and the energy felt like a mix of elegance and heartfelt joy.

Every moment we captured told a story. From their quiet anticipation before the ceremony, to the way they looked at each other during the vows, to their son proudly standing by their side, it was emotional in the best way.

A Love Story That Began at Wollongong Hospital

These two legends first met while working at Wollongong Hospital over seven years ago. While sparks didn’t fly straight away (Emma was in a relationship at the time), Arun couldn’t help but develop a quiet crush. Years later, after hearing through a mutual friend that Emma was single, he finally made his move with a simple message asking where she worked. That message changed everything.

Fast forward a few years, and here they were, getting married surrounded by family, friends, colour, energy, and plenty of heartfelt moments.

One of the highlights of the day was watching Emma embrace Arun’s Indian heritage. She wore a stunning traditional Indian outfit for the ceremony rich in detail, colour, and symbolism. Then, after the ceremony, she slipped away and changed into her white wedding gown for a private reveal to Arun. Let us tell you it was absolutely beautiful and such a sweet, emotional moment to witness and film. This blend of cultures is exactly why we love filming multicultural weddings in NSW. They’re vibrant, meaningful, and always full of surprises.

From the moment guests arrived, there was this buzz in the air. Everyone was smiling, dancing, laughing and it didn’t stop all day. Even though the weather was hot (we’re talking sweat-level hot), by the time the sun was setting, the golden hour light was chef’s kiss. It made for the perfect backdrop for portraits and those candid, in-between moments we live for. And then came the reception. Oh boy.

A Reception We’ll Never Forget

This wasn’t your typical wedding reception. It was a full-blown event.

We’re talking:

• And to top it all off, Emma and Arun sang a duet together

Yes, you read that right. They sang together. It was raw, emotional, and honestly one of the most touching things we’ve ever filmed. You could feel how much love they have for each other, and the entire room was completely silent, soaking it in. Those are the moments we live for as filmmakers.

Emma and Arun are the kind of couple that remind us why we do what we do. They’re down-to-earth, fun, full of love, and not afraid to mix it up. Arun brought the laughs, Emma brought the calm, and together they created a wedding that was completely and beautifully their own. We always feel so lucky to film at The Lodge Jamberoo but this one hit different. When you add in the energy of a cultural celebration, a setting sun, and two people truly in love, it doesn’t get better than that.

Montana and Jack created the kind of day that just felt real. No stress, no fuss, just two people completely in love, surrounded by their closest crew, celebrating in one of the South Coast’s most beautiful venues.

Ravensthorpe, with its stunning gardens, rolling views and that classic homestead charm, set the perfect backdrop for their story. From the relaxed ceremony to the sunset sessions later in the evening, everything flowed so naturally, and you could feel just how much these two adored each other.

As the afternoon rolled into golden hour, we were treated to one of the most incredible sunsets we have ever seen at Ravensthorpe. The light was absolutely magic. It wrapped around Montana and Jack like something out of a movie, making for the dreamiest footage and some truly unforgettable moments.

Even though they went to the same high school, Tayla and Jed never properly met back then. It wasn’t until a night out at Balgownie Hotel where fate officially brought them together.
After meeting as customers, they ended up working together at the same hotel and that’s where their love story truly began!

Fast forward to today, and these two are now husband and wife, celebrating with all their closest friends and family at one of the most breathtaking venues on the South Coast.

We’ve gotta start by saying this, Mikaela pulled off the sweetest surprise ever. She secretly booked us in last minute to film their day at The Lodge Jamberoo, as a surprise for Teneeka (yep, booked and planned it all without her knowing!). We snuck in on the morning of the wedding, and the look on Teneeka’s face when she realised what was happening, pure magic. You can catch it in the video, and it’s honestly one of our fave moments from the whole day.

Mikaela and Teneeka’s wedding at The Lodge Jamberoo was an explosion of colour, laughter, and love from start to finish. Two brides, both with huge hearts, massive energy, and the kind of chemistry that you can literally feel the moment you’re around them.

Let’s talk about the colour palette, think vibrant florals, bold bridal party colours, and every little detail full of personality. Nothing was cookie-cutter about this day. It was unapologetically them. Bright, fun, and totally unforgettable.

The Story That Got Them Here

These two legends met in a story that honestly sounds like it belongs in a rom-com.

Teneeka’s best mate from uni, Britt (who was also her Maid of Honour), ended up becoming one of Mikaela’s closest friends while working together in London as paramedics. Fast forward a bit, both girls are back in Australia and Britt’s matchmaking skills kick in.

There were crushes before they even met. Then a walk while Teneeka was visiting from QLD. Mikaela actually told someone she had to go meet her future wife, no pressure, hey? But from that first meeting, the spark was real. After a bit of Instagram silence, a very dodgy flatpack mission (where Mikaela called in backup to help distract Britt), and a sing-song date acceptance straight out of Miss Congeniality… the rest is history.

Within two weeks, Mikaela was telling her mates she was going to marry Teneeka. And honestly, standing there filming their day, you could see exactly why.

A Day Packed With Meaning

There were so many moments that made this day special. From the super vibrant florals to the wild dance-floor energy, everything reflected who they are.

But there was one moment that really hit us in the feels, the custom Steve Wood beers. In honour of Teneeka’s dad, who had recently passed, the girls created their own tribute by renaming his favourite brew with custom stickers. It was personal, beautiful, and such a thoughtful way to bring him into the day. It meant a lot to capture that moment for them.

Then there was the cocktail and oyster hour. the perfect mix of both of their personalities. A little fancy, a little chill, and all-round good vibes.

The Lodge Jamberoo Did Not Disappoint

The Lodge was the perfect backdrop for this wild, wonderful day. It gave us everything we needed to capture those candid, in-the-moment memories. From the lush surroundings to the relaxed layout, it just matched their vibe perfectly.

These two legends tied the knot at one of the most beautiful wedding venues on the South Coast of NSW, surrounded by native bushland, ocean views, and… kangaroos. Yep, you read that right—kangaroos were casually eating the ceremony flowers as guests arrived, which pretty much set the tone for the fun, easygoing day ahead.

How They Met – A Love Story That Led to a Jervis Bay Wedding

Lauren and Matt’s story started about 12 years ago when they met through mutual friends. They spent a few years crossing paths at 18th birthday parties and local hangouts, like the Ingleburn RSL, before things started to click in 2013. After a few months of getting to know each other, hanging out, and letting things naturally unfold, Matt decided they were already “official”—and then made it actually official a few days later. Classic Matt move.

Their connection is easy to see on camera—relaxed, fun, and full of banter. It made filming their wedding video at The Cove Jervis Bay such a breeze (and a lot of laughs).

The Wedding Day Vibes

From the start, this wedding was something special. The Cove is one of those Jervis Bay wedding venues that really has it all—beachfront ceremony spots, dreamy forest settings, and the kind of privacy that makes everything feel intimate and magical.

Lauren & Matt had a killer bridal party that kept the energy up all day long. From the first look to golden hour portraits and right into the reception, there was nothing but hype, love, and good vibes. Everyone was up for a laugh, which always makes for the best kind of wedding film.

The dance floor? Wild. Seriously, the kind of night where no one wanted it to end.
