Laura and Ryan’s wedding at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat was the perfect way to finish off our 2025 wedding season. Even though it was honestly one of the hottest wedding days we have ever filmed, pushing well over 45 degrees, the energy throughout the entire day never slowed down.
Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is always one of our favourite venues to film at. The scenery, relaxed atmosphere, and endless space always create such an incredible vibe for couples and guests. However, this wedding felt even more special because of how welcoming and fun Laura and Ryan were from the very beginning.
From the morning preparations right through to the dance floor, there was just so much love surrounding these two. Family and friends had travelled from all over the world to celebrate with them, which made every moment feel incredibly meaningful and emotional.
We were lucky enough to spend the day alongside Chris Red Berry, who always brings such a calm and fun energy to a wedding day. Even while trying not to completely melt in the heat, everyone kept spirits high and simply rolled with the day.
The reception quickly turned into an absolute party thanks to an incredible live band, packed dance floor, and guests who were ready to celebrate all night long. Honestly, it was one of those weddings where nobody cared about perfection or timelines. Everyone was simply present and enjoying every moment together.
