Camelia and I rarely get to film a wedding together, but this was one we just couldn’t pass up, and it wasn’t just because it was in the gorgeous Bimbadgen Palmers Lane in the Hunter Valley.
Joshua and Jaimie are two of the most fun people we’ve been around. Throughout the morning, we were all laughing so much. It was like we were hanging out with some of our best friends. They were so relaxed and couldn’t wait to enjoy the day ahead.
The ceremony was just incredible held next to the vineyards at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane. Monty Haron was brilliant. He made his entrance cracking a whip down the aisle. He brought a completely different type of life to the event that I hadn’t seen before. Plus, he managed to trick Joshua and Jaimie to whisper
something secretive into each other’s ears. However, I had a microphone on Joshua, so I captured every single hilarious word. But I’ll keep what they said a secret.
The Hunter Valley put on a show when we explored for more footage. The sun beamed down on Joshua and Jaimie, and we got some stunning shots with the mountains in the background. My favourite though was in the vineyards. The sun bounced off the vines and provided some breathtaking images. It helped
illustrate the warmth surrounding their love.
The reception was spectacular too. There were many heartfelt speeches and hilarious stories shared. The highlight for me was the first dance. Joshua and Jaimie’s closest friends and family members surrounded them with sparklers lighting up the sky while they held each other close. But once the final note played, the real dancing got started. People were (attempting) to do the splits. There were even some moves I’d never seen before. But everyone was having a great time, and that’s what it’s all about.
